Our Summer Send Off was a truly special occasion, bringing together students, staff, and families for one final celebration before the holidays. The day was filled with laughter, energy, and community spirit, everything that makes BSY unique.

What a spectacular performance! Our talented students lit up the stage with Sherlock and Cinders, delivering an unforgettable school play that captivated the entire audience. From the eye-catching costumes to the brilliant acting, every moment was a reflection of their creativity, commitment, and teamwork. 👏✨

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Year 13 students as they graduate from The British School Yangon.

The British School Yangon (BSY) is proud to have hosted the 2025 Yangon Regional Round of the World Scholar’s Cup. The event took place in our school theatre, which is the largest of any school in Myanmar, and brought together enthusiastic students from across the city to engage in spirited debate, collaboration, and academic challenges.

We are thrilled to announce that our BSY U11 team delivered an outstanding performance at this year’s FOBISIA Games, proudly representing the school across multiple sports with heart, determination, and team spirit. Among the many highlights, Teeball emerged as a standout success, with our students showing exceptional skill, teamwork, and resilience on the field.

What a wonderful way to wrap up our bread unit! Our Year 5 Bread Exit Point was a huge success, and we’re so proud of everything the children achieved.

Educators from The British School Yangon joined over 200 international teachers and leaders from Nord Anglia Education schools at the SEAMEI Teaching & Learning Conference 2025, held in Abu Dhabi. The event brought together outstanding minds in education to explore leadership, resilience, innovation, and inclusion—key elements shaping the future of teaching and learning.

BSY Book Week 2025 was a truly magical experience, bringing together students, teachers, and parents in a joyful celebration of reading! From engaging activities to inspiring performances, our school came alive with the love of literature.

What Does the Early Explorers Programme Entail? Early Explorers is a weekly one-hour session designed for parents and their children aged 6 months to 2 years. Rooted in the British EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, the programme provides a nurturing and engaging environment for children to explore, learn, and grow alongside their parents or guardians.

On Tuesday, 11th February 2025, the British School Yangon hosted its much-anticipated BSY Career Fair, bringing together industry professionals, business representatives, students, and parents for an insightful and engaging event.
