Exploring Early Years at The British School Yangon: where children's safety and happiness rule!

Homework is an integral part of learning and studies have consistently shown it has positive outcomes to a child’s overall learning.

On Thursday, May 26th the British School Yangon held its first ever Year 13 graduation!

A lot of exciting developments are happening at BSY and for our student athletes, nothing is perhaps more exciting than a return to competitive sports in Yangon!

At the heart of what we do is to ensure every child receives the highest possible standard of education, now and in the future.

Taking inspiration from the British Theatre group DV8, students were asked to create a performance using responses on "what is home". 

NAE global figures showing that online STEM courses taken by its students this year were twice as popular compared to the same period last year.

This year’s NAE-UNICEF Student Summit is underway, with our student ambassadors attending virtually from around the world.

Most of our students have ambitions for moving abroad following sixth form to study at university. Every year these graduates follow in the footsteps of Nord Anglia Education alumni who have attended some of the world’s best universities and whose success stories are inspiring proof of the exciting pathways which await them.

Today marks another important milestone for Nord Anglia Education. Three of the UK’s leading independent day and boarding schools will join our family of schools from the Oxford International Education Group as of 31 March 2021.

"Generation Mask" was the title of last term's project.

The students had practiced similar activities during their PE lessons and were now able to show off their newly learned skills to their parents and loved ones. It was great to see over 80 parents attend our EYFS Fun Day and we look forward to growing the event even further next year. Well done to all the students and parents who got involved!!

As part of our Book Week celebrations, BSY students participated in  book Upcycling workshops run by our super creative parents.  They learnt how to transform old books into new and beautiful vases, frames and ornaments.

Thingyan is the Burmese New Year Water Festival and usually falls around mid-April.
